guitarist born and based in Berlin, currently playing and composing for various soul, reggae, hip hop, jazz and world music projects and working as live sideman and session musician for many local and international singers, big bands, dance and theatre performances
besides having been a member of many bands over the past years, Fritz played shows with Bitty McLean (UK), Ken Boothe (JAM), Pat Kelly (JAM),
Kiddus I (JAM), Stranger Cole (JAM), The Melodians (JAM),
Roy Ellis (UK), Doreen Shaffer (JAM), Dawn Penn (JAM), Longfingah (DE)
and many other reggae artists, with soul singers Elijah Bland (USA), Jen Dale (CH), Sera Kalo (USA) and Norman Vladimir (USA) and with the jazz big bands CON'trust jazz orchestra,
Berliner Jugend Jazz Orchester and the AMIS International Honor Jazz Band 2007/08
Fritz played classical guitar since the age of 6 until interest in jazz, school big bands and own band projects lead to the electric guitar. Intensive college preparation courses in Berlin followed in 2007-2009, with Martin Werner, Harald Kündgen, Henning Schmiedt and workshops with Antonio Sanchez, Karl Schloz, and Eric St. Laurent
2009-14 Performance major in "Jazz/Rock/Pop Guitar" @ Hochschule für Musik Dresden with Stephan Bormann, Reentko, David Sick, Ralf Beutler, Till Brönner, Celine Rudolph and workshops with Mike Stern, Jeff Ballard, Larry Grenadier, The Bad Plus, Jerry Granelli
